A pastry shop in Almada was robbed twice in one week. CCTV footage shows the suspect, who the owner believes is the culprit of both crimes, forcibly entering the premises. On the first night (August 2-3), he kicked in the door with his car, a red Opel Corsa, and on the second night (August 3-4), he kicked in the door with his foot.
Despite all attempts, the suspect was never able to take anything. The man allegedly tried to get into the piggy bank, which contained about 1,700 euros, but was unsuccessful.
In addition to the CCTV footage, several neighbors recorded the moment they heard the bakery’s alarm. A man passing by also tried to stop the robber, but was threatened.
Owner João Antunes says the bakery has been robbed four times in less than a year, with money and tobacco stolen on other occasions.
