An accident involving an ambulance occurred in the Krasnoarmeisky district of Volgograd, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry for the Volgograd Region reported on February 17.
The accident occurred on the morning of February 16. A 64-year-old driver of a UAZ-396295 medical service vehicle at the intersection of Machtozavodskaya and Gremyachenskaya streets did not give priority to the Toyota car, which was following the main road.
As a result of an unsuccessful maneuver, a vehicle collision occurred. Due to the impact, the rear doors of the medical service car were opened, due to which the 61-year-old UAZ passenger fell from the passenger compartment onto the road.
After the accident, the injured man was hospitalized. According to regional health authorities, nothing endangers his life.
It should be noted that, according to the version of the UAZ driver, the patient who was in the cabin independently opened the door, as a result of which he fell onto the road.
