Thai police rescued a Russian tourist who was attacked by a cow in Surat Thani, in the southern Asian country, on Thursday afternoon, according to British tabloid DEili MailEvgeny Kuvshinov allegedly tried to rape the animal. Local residents called the authorities after seeing a naked man in a field with bulls and cows.
Emergency services found the man naked with several bruises on his body and took him to Bannaderm Hospital.
According to a paramedic who arrived at the scene, Evgeny was trying to have sex with a cow when he was attacked. “We found marijuana in his car, so maybe he was high. The way we found him, his actions suggest that he was trying to do something to the cow, that he was trying to have sex with her,” he said.
After being treated at the hospital, the man was discharged and taken to the police station. “We are waiting for the tourist police and immigration police to take over the case so that we can conduct an investigation,” said a local police lieutenant.
