The number of firefighters injured while extinguishing a fire that broke out at an industrial warehouse in Kamensk after an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles has risen to 41, Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev reported on his Telegram channel on August 19.
“So far, 41 firefighters have been contacted by the central hospital of the Proletarsky district. 18 of them required hospitalization, including five who are currently in intensive care. It was decided to hand them over to medical institutions in Rostov.”wrote Golubev.
He said that doctors from medical institutions in the Rostov region were assisting the victims.
Recall that on the night of August 18, the Kiev regime attempted an airstrike in the south-west of the Rostov region. Russian air defence systems shot down a UAV. As a result of debris falling on the territory of industrial warehouses in Proletarsk, a diesel fuel fire broke out.
The fire is still raging. Work is being carried out under the most difficult conditions.
