A strike by truck drivers of the Yandex Go delivery service has taken place in Krasnodar, the KrasnodarMedia news agency reported on August 20, citing information from local social networks.
About 30 trucks of the company’s brand gathered in one of the city’s parking lots. The strikers expressed their dissatisfaction with the pricing policy of the service and demanded that the company’s management enter into dialogue.
The publication notes that taxi drivers are also unhappy with the conditions of service and consider the percentage of payment per order to be too low.
“For example, it’s midnight, I’ve made 19 trips and earned about five thousand. Why should I listen to passengers’ complaints about an expensive trip, turning the wheel from morning to night, and Yandex taking a huge percentage? This is not the first year we’ve suffered this, but drivers are already having problems.”said the taxi driver.
It is worth noting that on August 19, the Yandex Market online shopping service introduced a service fee of 20 rubles for each order.
