The controversial position of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was ridiculed in the new series of the American animated satirical comedy “South Park” (South Park), which shows characters similar to them, on February 16 in The Telegraph.
The new episode of the cartoon shows the Prince and Princess of Canada, a young royal couple who move to a small town in search of solitude and at the same time constantly attract attention.
Royal Reviewer McTaggart writes that the episode features “a red-haired prince and his wife, who wears a white hat and pink dress similar to the Duchess of Sussex’s outfit in Trooping the Color in 2018.” The likes of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are publishing a book, doing TV interviews and embarking on the We Want Solitude world tour of France, India and Australia.
“The creators of the show made several thinly veiled attacks on the Duke and Duchess, including showing a book written by a Canadian prince named Waaagh, whose cover is reminiscent of Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare.” – writes the observer.
The prince and his wife in the cartoon are shown as negative characters who, on the one hand, constantly require privacy and walk with signs “Don’t look at us”, on the other hand, they constantly draw attention to themselves.
In the animated film, characters resembling the Duke and Duchess appear on the television show Good Morning Canada holding signs for “We want privacy” and “Stop looking at us.” When the host objected that the character’s spouse didn’t really want privacy, the couple left the set angrily.
