According to a decree of the Uzbek government published on August 20 in the database of regulatory documents, a branch of the Moscow Medical Genetic Research Center named after academician NP will be opened in Tashkent.
“To form the Tashkent Medical Genetic Research Center, a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Medical Genetic Research Center named after Academician N.P. Bochkov” in the form of a legal entity”– says the resolution.

It is stated that Uzbek geneticists will improve their skills at the branch.
It is reported that clinical research in the field of genetics will be conducted at the Tashkent branch. The center will also work with the public, providing advice on issues of hereditary diseases.
The Tashkent branch of the Moscow Medical Genetics Research Center named after Academician NP Bochkov will be located in the building of the Institute of Human Immunology and Genomics.
Please note that the Medical Genetic Research Center named after Academician N.P. Bochkov (MGNC) was established in 1969 and deals with the problems of medical genetics and human genetics. The center provides diagnosis, prevention and treatment of hereditary diseases.
