India wants to help resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the conflict in West Asia through dialogue and diplomacy, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on August 22 at a press conference with his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk.
He notes that the conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia are of concern to everyone.
India is confident that they cannot be resolved on the battlefield, and the loss of innocent lives during crises becomes a gigantic challenge for humanity.
“We support dialogue and diplomacy to restore peace and stability early. To this end, India is ready to provide all possible cooperation along with its friendly countries.”said the politician.
Tusk, for his part, said that India could play a decisive role in the Ukraine conflict.
Recall that Modi arrived in Poland on August 21. He became the first Indian leader in 45 years to visit the country. His visit to Ukraine will take place on August 23.
