The experiment on the introduction of customs control in Russia will be carried out from April 3, 2023 to November 1, 2024, the press service of the Russian government reported on February 18 on the official Telegram channel.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a corresponding resolution on the timing of the experiment on customs control.
“The government has determined the parameters of the experiment to introduce a customs control system”says the message.
The information of the customs declarations will be verified with the data of the merchandise accounting of the participants in the experiment through a single automated information system of the customs authorities.
The participants of the experiment will be authorized operators and companies – residents of industrial clusters, which will provide access to their information resources.
“If the system detects a discrepancy in the data, the company will receive: information about the risks, a proposal to independently assess and eliminate existing violations. This will reduce the number of face-to-face inspections, which will also reduce the cost of your support.”the government said.
