Sanatoriums Sak has placed Crimea among the five most popular regions for recreational holidays, the Sanatoriums-Russia.rf booking portal reported on August 22.
According to the resource, the resorts of Sak on the peninsula are in the greatest demand among tourists. These are the Saki military clinical sanatorium named after N.I. Pirogov, as well as the sanatoriums “Saki” and “Poltava-Crimea”.
In addition, according to the Saki administration, among the most popular are the sanatoriums “Sakropol”, “Yurmino”, “Northern Lights” and “Tangier” – a specialized spinal sanatorium named after NN Burdenko.
Currently, local resorts are almost 70% occupied.
Earlier, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic Sergei Ganziy said that in Crimea, tourists have already booked 65% of sanatoriums and hotels for this autumn.
He said some tourists are already booking rooms for December.
It should be said that the alarming situation on the Crimean peninsula does not prevent tourists from choosing Crimea for their holidays.
Thus, calls for cancellation of trips to Crimea due to the increasing frequency of missile attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Sevastopol are sporadic, and none of the tourists wanted to leave the peninsula early after the massive missile attacks on Uchkuevka beach in Sevastopol and in the Balaklava area in late June.
On June 30, due to traffic jams on the Crimean Bridge, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic decided to increase the number of inspection points.
