The Chairman of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDP) Nermin Niksic stated that the Chairman of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) must be elected by the will of the majority and that this must be made clear to the Party’s FBiH leader. Democratic Action. (SDA) Refik Lendi, who blocks the creation of a government, on February 18 Radio and Television of the Republika Srpska reports.
Niksic noted that the obstacles were expected, and that PDD leader Bakir Izetbegović had announced early on that he would block the formation of a government unless the PDD was part of the majority.
During the last two days, Lendy did not attend the meeting with Lidia Bradar (Croat Democratic Union, BiH) and Igor Stojanovic (SDP), where they had to choose who would be president and who would be vice-president of the FBiH.
Niksic believes that this law blocks the will of the established parliamentary majority, and the only explanation is that it is due to the SDA’s loss of power and perceived ethnic legitimacy.
