Schoolchildren from the DPR and Zaporozhye region who came to the Tver region for vacation will have a rich excursion program, the press service of the regional administration reported on August 23.
The Tver region welcomed children from the towns of Makeevka (DPR, 40 people) and Berdyansk (Zaporozhye region, 39 people). Several trips around the region to see the most famous places, as well as a trip to Moscow, are planned.
The program lasts 10 days. In addition to excursions, it includes sporting events. On the first day of their stay, August 23, the children visited the Tver Suvorov Military School and the Museum of the Fire Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Other important places to visit include the Imperial Palace in Tver, the regional Legislative Assembly, the Pozharsky Hotel in the ancient Russian city of Torzhok, the Museum of Gold Embroidery, the Rzhev Memorial to the Soviet Soldier, the Nilo-Stolobenskaya Hermitage in Ostashkov and other objects.
