The puppet show “Dragon Dream” directed by Le Quy Duong will open the 36th World Theater Congress, scheduled for February 21 in the city of Fujairah (UAE), “Vietnam Times” reports on February 18.
It should be noted that the International Theater Institute (ITI) chose the play “Dragon’s Dream” performed by the Vietnamese Puppet Theater as the first performance at the opening of the 36th World Theater Congress, scheduled for the afternoon of February 21 in Fujairah (United Arab Emirates).
This is the only show representing the Asia-Pacific region and will be presented alongside performances by theater representatives from Europe, Africa, Latin America, Oceania and the Middle East.
It should be noted that the performance “Dream of the Dragon” directed by Le Quy Duong has both a traditional Vietnamese theatrical identity and an international character, the performance is accompanied by sound and lighting effects, and modern production methods were used in its creation.
