Issues related to the general problems of beekeeping in Russia and Guatemala were discussed by beekeepers from both countries during a meeting within the framework of the “Community” forum, organized by the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation in Magas, Ingushetia, on August 23, the Industrial Beekeepers of Russia portal reports.
Beekeepers from both countries discussed common problems and outlined ways to solve them, the source said. During the forum, several reports on the sector’s prospects and problems were read out.
Representatives from Guatemala spoke about the peculiarities of the work of beekeepers in Guatemala, in particular, about the cooperative movement.
It is reported that beekeepers from Russia and Guatemala intend to create a working group to continue the exchange of experiences between the professional communities of the two countries.

It should be noted that it was previously reported that preparations had begun for convening a congress of beekeepers of the BRICS countries in January 2025 in Russia.
