In an interview with TVI, the first part of which was broadcast this Sunday, Pinto da Costa revealed that the book he will publish in October contains the names of people he would not like to see at his funeral.
“Is Andre Villas-Boas on that list?” the former Porto president was asked, but there was no answer to that specific question.
“These are the ones who betrayed me during my lifetime. Some are still there. Since I go to many funerals and see people with deep feelings and others telling jokes, I don’t want my family and friends to feel that they are surrounded by hypocrites, I want them to feel that everyone there feels the same: friendship, longing, that I am going to a better world and that one day they will come to me,” Pinto da Costa added, concluding later.
“Those who don’t understand me will say that I was this and that, but my friends will say well. They can’t say that I have harmed anyone in life, at least with my knowledge and intentionally. No one will say that,” he guaranteed.
