Two civilians were injured in an artillery attack by Ukrainian troops in the town of Shebekino, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel on August 26.
A man and a woman were injured. The man was wounded in the lumbar region and suffered a mine explosion injury. The woman was wounded by shrapnel in the lumbar region and legs.
The damage caused included the windows, facades and entrances of five residential buildings. In four private houses, windows were broken, facades, outbuildings and fences were cut by shrapnel and in one house the electric cable was broken. Windows were broken in a social infrastructure facility and in a commercial facility. In addition, four cars were damaged and another one caught fire due to a direct hit by a projectile.
Earlier, on the night of August 26, in the Belgorod region, Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles attacked a car on the highway between Krasnaya Yaruga and Vyazov, injuring a man and a 17-year-old girl who were traveling in it.
