According to British newspaper Independent, Mustafa Avchi, A 33-year-old man was rescued after 11 days in the rubble of a hospital in Antakya, Turkey. “I thought my family was dead,” the father told reporters.
The man was on the ground floor of the clinic and went out to “breathe the air” when an earthquake shook Turkey on February 6. Bilge, 28, had just given birth and was under medical supervision on the fourth floor, the newspaper reported.
According to the same source, the mother and newborn were not seriously injured, and the man was littered under the rubble.
On Friday, two people aged 12 and 26 were also rescued in Turkey.
The earthquake that rocked Turkey and Syria has already killed more than 45,000 people.
