US President Joe Biden criticized a Texas judge on Tuesday for halting his regularization program for half a million illegal immigrants and vowed to continue fighting for them.
“I’m not interested in playing with the border or immigration. I’m interested in solving problems. I’m also not interested in separating families. That’s not who we are as Americans. I will continue to fight to secure our border and rebuild our immigration system,” Biden said in a statement released by the White House.
Last Friday, a coalition of 16 Republican-run states sued the North American central government in an attempt to stop the Keeping Families Together program, which began early last week.
