At least nine Palestinians have been killed and thirteen others wounded by Israeli special forces during ground and air raids early Tuesday morning in the northern occupied Palestinian territory of the West Bank.
One of the attacks killed four Palestinians and wounded eight in an attack in the Fara refugee camp in Tubas, according to sources from the Palestinian Red Crescent emergency service.
Another attack was reported in Jenin province, where five more Palestinians were killed and three wounded, three of them in an airstrike while they were in their vehicle in the village of Seir, southeast of Jenin. At least three Palestinians were also wounded in Tulkarem, where Israeli forces continue to operate.
The Armed Forces have launched a large-scale “anti-terrorist operation” in the northern West Bank early this morning, in order to eliminate “immediate terrorist threats” that seek to harm the civilian population.
The spokesman for the forces said the dead Palestinians were armed and had explosive devices.
