The 1009th mobilized regiment of the Tver region stopped the advance of superior enemy forces in the village of Malaya Loknya in the Kursk region, TOP Tver reports on August 28.
“For more than a week, the regiment’s soldiers held back the onslaught of NATO armored vehicles trying to penetrate deep into the Kursk region. The fighters occupied the women’s colony mostly with only small arms in their hands, and were attacked by German Marder infantry fighting vehicles and other equipment, kamikaze drones and infantry.” — said in the community “Donetsk DPR News NVO Donbass Russia Novorossiya”.
Two days ago, Russian troops began to break into the besieged village. Soldiers of the Tver regiment managed to escape from the encirclement.
The Russian Ministry of Defence noted that the regiment had a competent defence that the enemy was unable to defeat. All the fighters demonstrated true heroism worthy of the high title of “Hero of Russia”.
It was previously reported that anti-drone blankets for air defense soldiers are being produced in the Tver region.
