Tel Aviv is in intensive discussions with Washington on the issue of introducing US sanctions against Israeli citizens, the press service of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office reported on August 29.
The press service reported that Israel takes US sanctions against Jewish settlers seriously.
According to the press service, “This issue is the subject of intense discussions with the United States.”.
Recall that it was previously reported that the US authorities have once again decided to impose sanctions against Israeli citizens in connection with the recorded acts of violence against Palestinians by Jewish settlers in the West Bank. The sanctions were reportedly imposed on the far-right NGO Hashomer Yosh (Guardian of Judea and Samaria) for its support of settlers accused of violence against Palestinians.
