The cooperation between Rostov-on-Don and the four largest cities in Brazil was discussed on August 28 by the head of the Rostov administration Alexey Logvinenko and the representative of Brazil Devanir Cavalcante within the framework of the International Municipal Forum of the BRICS countries. Logvinenko informed about this on his Telegram channel.
“I spoke with Mr. Devanir Cavalcante, Ambassador of the BRICS International Municipal Forum in Brazil. During the meeting, issues of cooperation with the largest Brazilian cities: Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Fortaleza were discussed.”“, wrote Logvinenko.

He explained that Brazil is one of Russia’s promising strategic partners today. Cooperation with this state is possible in various areas: economy and trade, education, culture and sports.
Logvinenko stressed that Rostov-on-Don is ready to receive the Brazilian delegations. He recalled that “Brazil is a country of coffee, samba, football and carnival” He also expressed confidence that in the near future the inhabitants of Rostov will be able to get acquainted with the traditions and customs of such an interesting and original state.
