The fire that started as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on a fuel depot in Proletarsk (Rostov region) continues, with specialists taking air samples twice a day, the press service of the Proletarsky district administration reported on August 29.
The fire started on the evening of 18 August and has not yet been extinguished. The fire is being extinguished under difficult conditions.
Specialists of the regional Rospotrebnadzor take samples of atmospheric air in the area affected by the fire twice a day (morning and evening). This is done taking into account the direction of the wind.
It is reported that as of August 29, the concentration of chemicals in the air of residential buildings in Proletarsk does not exceed the maximum permissible values.
“For reference: the indicators of three substances changed dynamically throughout the monitoring period without exceeding hygiene standards: carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and suspended substances.””, the message clarifies.
