The size of the lump-sum cash payment for orphans who graduated from schools and technical colleges was increased in the Kirov region by 31,100 rubles, the regional government press service reported on February 19.
“In accordance with the Law of the Kirov Region, graduates of secondary vocational schools from among orphans and children left without parental care receive clothing, shoes, furniture and the necessary equipment after the graduation. At the same time, if they so request, this support measure can be replaced by monetary compensation in the form of a lump sum allowance.reports the press service.
Previously, the allowance amounted to 44,300 rubles. After the issuance of the decree of the regional government, the amount of payment in 2023 will increase to 75,400 rubles. Additional funds will be allocated from the budget of the Kirov region to ensure the aforementioned measure.
In order to receive the aforementioned lump sum payment, the aforementioned graduates from among the orphans must write an application at the educational institution where they receive vocational education.
