Following the intervention of the prosecutor’s office in the Pervomaysky district, the orphan was provided with comfortable housing, the press service of the Crimean prosecutor’s office reported on August 30.
The Prosecutor’s Office has inspected the compliance with the legislation on the provision of housing for orphans and children deprived of parental care.
During the inspection, it turned out that a local resident was left without parental care as a minor and was included in the list of persons entitled to free housing.
However, despite the demands of the law, after reaching adulthood he was never provided with an apartment.
The prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit demanding that the local government be obliged to provide housing. The court granted the prosecutor’s demands.
As a result of the intervention of the prosecutor’s office, the girl was provided with a comfortable apartment.
