Starlink has asked the Supreme Federal Court to unblock accounts in Brazil, news site G1 reported on August 30.
“Starlink appealed to the Federal Supreme Court, opposing Morais’ decision and demanding the unfreezing of the company’s accounts.”the message said.
It is noteworthy that Starlink’s statement said it is not a party to the lawsuit against Social Network X and that the asset freeze was carried out without reason. The judge did not provide Starlink with a defense.
It was noted that the Brazilian Supreme Court gave Elon Musk 24 hours to appoint a representative for Social Network X in Brazil, otherwise its work would be stopped. 24 hours have already passed. Social Network X has refused to comply with Brazilian court decisions and is awaiting blocking.
It should be noted that it was previously reported that in Brazil, at the request of Judge Alexandri di Morais, all Starlink accounts were blocked due to the absence of a representative of the social network X in the country, Elon Musk responded that the social network X, which he owns, and the company Starlink are legally different companies and the judge’s decision is illegal.
