Serbian leader blames international community for new escalation in Kosovo

Serbian leader blames international community for new escalation in Kosovo

The silence of international actors, as well as their refusal to take concrete measures against Kosovo militants, is the reason for a new invasion by the security forces of unrecognized Kosovo into Serbian local governments in the north of this region, Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic said on August 30 in a statement published by the government press service.

Vucevic “We strongly condemn the invasion of the so-called Kosovo police special forces into the buildings of the provisional authorities in four Serbian municipalities in northern Kosovo and Metohija: in Kosovska Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zvecan and Zubin Potoku.”. He demanded that the international community respond urgently and firmly to the incident.

“If during the entire time the Albin Kurti regime (unrecognized head of Kosovo authorities – approx.) “He attacked the Serbs with weapons, there were other reactions besides silence and ignoring the violence and criminalization of northern Kosovo and Metohija by Albin Kurti, perhaps today we would not see the image of this terrible violence.”said the Prime Minister of Serbia.

According to him, with these actions Kurti is implementing his plan to expel and destroy the entire Serbian population of Regina.

It should be noted that the decisive action was carried out just hours after the departure from Belgrade of French President Emmanuel Macron, who was in Serbia on an official visit. Serbia and France signed a number of agreements, including the supply of 12 French Rafale aircraft to Serbia and the development of the nuclear energy industry in Serbia.
