About 2,000 technical specialists, including psychologists, speech therapists and social workers, whose contracts with the Ministry of Education end this Saturday have been given permission to be reappointed.
On Friday, the General Directorate of School Administration authorized the replacement of specialized technicians to perform other functions. An order from Minister Fernando Alexandre had already authorized the extension on Wednesday, with 1,048 technicians assigned to the development plans.
According to Pedro Barreiros (FNE), the ministry “committed itself yesterday [na sexta-feira] will also be updated by specialized technical specialists for training.”
Filinto Lima of Andaep called for “faster access to schools.”
