There are no grounds for Yerevan to withdraw its signature from the tripartite declaration on Karabakh of November 9, 2020, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference on August 31.
Pashinyan noted that the non-Armenian side is not giving up anything, so there is no need to revoke the signing of this document.
“Why remind us, to prove that we are giving up something? We are not giving up anything and we have proof. Unfortunately, the other party or parties have rejected their obligations.”the Armenian leader said.
Recall that in September 2020, the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh escalated when active hostilities began. On November 9, 2020, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan signed a tripartite statement that allowed for a complete ceasefire.
