Investigators have opened a bribery case against three employees of a military construction company who were involved in the completion of the construction of a military clinic, the Investigative Committee’s press service reported on August 31.
The department reported that the Main Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia is investigating a criminal case against three former employees of one of the military construction companies for accepting a bribe in the fulfillment of a state defense order, as well as against the general director of a private construction organization, who is suspected of having given a bribe.
The investigation established that a state contract was concluded between the Russian Ministry of Defense and a military construction company to adjust the design documentation and complete construction and installation work on the buildings of the multidisciplinary clinic of the Military Medical Academy named after S.M. Kirov. A limited liability company participated as a subcontractor in the execution of a government contract.
For a long time, the gender officer paid money to the construction company for approving applications submitted for advance payment of work, but the work was not completed properly.
The suspects will be arrested. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is continuing, and all the circumstances of the crimes committed are being established.
