Twelve apartment buildings, as well as two residential buildings, were damaged in the town of Shebekino during an attack by the Ukrainian military, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on his Telegram channel on August 31.
“Today, 12 apartment buildings were damaged in the city and two high-rise buildings were directly hit. In one of these houses, the roof and the floor slab were broken. Another has a broken roof.”said the governor.
Damage to the roof and facades of buildings was also reported. Gladkov said some buildings were severely damaged. The decision on the timing and extent of repair work will be made after a series of examinations.
He added that the settlement was shelled three times by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 24 hours. Nine civilian vehicles were damaged.
It should be noted that the urban district of Shebekinsky is shelled daily by the Ukrainian army. Shebekino is located four kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
