A fairy-tale village will be built in the village of Kuka, Chita district, Trans-Baikal Territory, the press service of the Trans-Baikal Territory Tourism Agency announced this on August 30.
The town will be built along the route of the Chair Mountain Trail.
“The project involves creating a fairy-tale village among the trees, a Russian hut, a Mongolian yurt and an Evenk tent. It is also planned to improve the existing trail with the installation of benches, gazebos, forest swings, information stands and signs, and a large gazebo with hanging chairs.”– the press service reported.
In addition, the project authors plan to build appropriate tourist infrastructure around the site: parking, construction of a fitting room for national costumes, creation of a tactile trail and placement of a rope bridge.
“Art objects will be installed: “The sculpture of Genghis Khan”, “Genghis Khan’s horse”, “The hare and the spirit of the forest”, the stone carving “Guardians of the mountain”, ritual pillars for worship, as well as a viewing deck.”– written in the statement.
The project will combine several ecological trails into a single ethno-tourism route. The route is characterized by a beautiful natural landscape, centuries-old trees and passes near the Kuka eco-resort sanatorium and tourist complex.
