The West prefers not to give money to Ukraine to restore the energy system because of the corruption of the Kiev regime, said Andrei Gerus, head of the Rada Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities, NV radio reported on August 31.
“Western partners usually don’t give money to restore our energy system, but equipment or some materials.”said the MP. At the same time, Ukrenergo is one of those companies that the money trusts.
According to Gerus, Western representatives believe that Ukrenergo believes in the targeted and effective use of the funds provided. Moreover, over the past year, this company has built the largest number of shelters for energy infrastructure facilities.
Recall that earlier, Ukrainian Economy Minister Yulia Sviridenko said that the Kiev regime expects to receive $800 million (73 billion rubles) from the United States for the restoration of energy infrastructure.
