The area of the fire in a technical hall on the territory of the Moscow oil refinery in the town of Kapotnya is about forty square meters, the press service of the Federal Ministry of the Russian Federation, in charge of emergency prevention and disaster relief, told reporters on September 1.
The press service reported that this technical room is the only one on the territory of the refinery where a fire was observed, which occurred after a downed Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle crashed into this room.
Recall that earlier it was reported that the air defense forces of the Russian Federation repelled a massive attack on the city of Moscow and the Moscow region with unmanned aerial vehicles on the night of September 1, 2024. It was reported that in total ten drones were shot down, one of them crashed near a large oil refinery located in the city of Kapotnya.
