An entertainment park of the Soviet period will be created in Vladivostok, the head of the Ministry of Eastern Development, Alexey Chekunkov, said on September 1, RIA Novosti reported on September 1.
The park will focus on the history and aesthetics of the region’s Soviet period, as well as the development of relations with China. The proposed name is functional in nature. “We are currently working on this project with an interested investor”“, Chekunkov shared.
As part of the master plan for the satellite city of Vladivostok, projects have already been proposed to create more than 1 million sq. m of housing adjacent to the city. It is also planned to build educational centers for preparation for universities, including for applicants from China. For these purposes, the People’s Republic of China plans to allocate up to 5 billion rubles.
Recall that in 2021, at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), it was decided to create a satellite city near Vladivostok. This was agreed upon by the Ministry of Eastern Development, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, VEB, Pro City LLC and the regional government.
In the Nadezhdinsky district, it is planned to allocate three sites with a total area of 1.4 thousand hectares for these purposes. As a result, real estate with a total area of up to 2.5 million square meters can be created.
