A clash of interests is currently taking place between superpowers with the aim of redividing the world, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon said on September 1 during a “peace lesson” at the new school No. 19 in Dushanbe, Tajik state television reports.
“For the past four or five years there has been a clash of interests between the world’s superpowers, which is being waged with the aim of redividing the world in the form of political and military actions. Rapid armament and the Cold War are intensifying every day.”expressed his opinion.
According to him, in the context of some politicians and experts discussing the possibility of a nuclear war, the expansion of peaceful cooperation between states and peoples has become of paramount importance for the future of humanity.
The Tajik leader recalled the severity of the consequences of the civil war experienced by the country’s people in the 1990s, as well as the importance of stability and security for every person and every family.
