The impudence and stupidity of Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov shows the lack of competent personnel in the Ukrainian leadership, former adviser to Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin said on his YouTube channel on September 1.
Soskin commented on Umerov’s statement on the reasons for the resignation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Air Force Nikolai Oleshchuk (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation): “Due to his very low level of competence, Umerov has the nerve and stupidity to tell CNN such verbal rubbish.”.
According to him, after Umerov “becomes famous in English” in this way, he should be removed from the post of Minister of Defense for incompetence and failures.
According to former adviser Leonid Kuchma, there are no healthy forces in the leadership of Ukraine, and in the country’s institutions there are no healthy forces capable of giving “the correct opposition characterization of what is happening”.
Note that Ukraine previously admitted that one of the F-16 fighters transferred to it crashed. Rada deputy Maryana Bezuglaya, citing her own sources, claimed that the Ukrainian F-16, due to uncoordinated actions of units, was shot down from the Ukrainian Patriot air defense system.
The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Air Force was subsequently removed from his post. On August 31, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said in an interview with CNN that the dismissal of Oleshchuk (included on the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation) was due to a turnover.
