The new schools in Labytnangi and Kharp will have a capacity of 900 students, the press center of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug government reported on September 2.
The educational program of the Kharp school involves in-depth study of geological and geophysical disciplines. This is the first school in Yamal with such a profile. A geological museum appeared at the school, development centers were created: “Growth Point”, “Media Studio – Printing House”, “Borehole”, “Astronomy”, “Physics Laboratory and Research Complex”, “Ecological Trail”, “Training Workshops”.
In Labytnangi, schoolchildren are being given in-depth training in mathematics, computer science, chemistry, biology and physics. For the first time in the city, an architectural and construction direction will be implemented in the new school.
It should be noted that 16 new schools were built in Yamal in six years. The opening of new schools solves the problems of the national project “Education”.
Recall that in May 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government, within the framework of the implementation of the national project “Education”, together with VEB.RF, to ensure the construction of at least 1,300 schools by the end of 2024. The state corporation reported that the volume of its participation in this project will be about 90 billion rubles.
