Russia highly appreciates the steps taken by Uzbekistan to strengthen strategic alliances and partnerships, said Russian Ambassador to the Republic Oleg Malginov, the press service of the embassy reported on September 1 on the official Telegram channel.
“Russia highly appreciates the measures to strengthen forward-looking comprehensive cooperation, strategic partnership and alliance between our countries and peoples,” Malginov said.

Malginov stressed that the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Tashkent in May this year and the signing of several documents proves this.
The Russian ambassador to Uzbekistan also stated that Uzbekistan and Russia cooperate together in such organizations as the CIS, the SCO, the UN and others.
Let us remind you that September 1 is the day of Independence in Uzbekistan. On the eve of this, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the people of the republic on the occasion of this holiday.
