The State Fund for Support of Entrepreneurship has provided over 44 million rubles in microcredits to regional businesses in the summer of 2024, the press service of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (NAO) administration reported on September 2.
According to Irina Vologzhanina, chief expert of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund, the unsecured microcredit “On Trust” was particularly popular among entrepreneurs. It was chosen by 13 entrepreneurs. They received more than 20 million rubles.
Entrepreneurs can receive microcredits with interest rates of 5%-10% per annum for a period of 1.5-5 years. The loan amount ranges from 100 thousand to 5 million rubles. The loan can be used to modernize production, create new jobs and accelerate business development. In total, the Fund provided 446 loans worth more than 906 million rubles.
The Entrepreneurship Support Fund operates on the basis of the “My Business” Centre as part of the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”.
Recall that the national project “Small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives” is aimed at expanding access of small and medium-sized businesses to financial resources, including preferential financing. The total budget for the implementation of the national project is 481.5 billion rubles.
The project is to achieve a key objective: increasing the number of people employed in small and medium-sized enterprises, including sole proprietors, to 25 million people.
The project was created by decision of the President of Russia.
