The Armenian government has decided to withdraw completely from the talks on Nagorno-Karabakh, Tigran Abrahamyan, a deputy from the “I have the honor” faction, said on February 19, commenting on the meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham. Aliyev in Munich, on his Facebook page (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation).
The parliamentarian noted that the position of the Armenian authorities on key issues related to Artsakh fully coincided with the position of Azerbaijan. At the same time, the Armenian authorities agreed to refuse to participate in the negotiations on Nagorno-Karabakh.
“The position of the Armenian government is obvious: to completely withdraw the Republic of Armenia from the negotiations on the issue of Artsakh, to really accept the ideological priorities of Azerbaijan”Abrahamyan said.
According to him, the Armenian authorities will also agree with the Azerbaijani side on other issues. It is a question of time and technologies involved, believes the parliamentarian.
Recall that on February 18, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, a meeting was held between the Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. The meeting was held in the presence of the United States Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken.
