The new “Defense Industry” courses are open to students of engineering, fundamental sciences, as well as economic, administrative and social sciences, Defense Industry Board (SSB) Chairman Haluk Gergün said, Turkish publication gdh.digital reported on Sept. 2.
“Through Defense Industry 102 and Defense Industry 402, our sophomores and seniors will be able to provide leadership in areas such as human resources, financial management, business development, purchasing, contracts, sales, marketing, law, communications, and sustainability advocacy. industry.”said Gergún.
The SSB chief stressed that these courses will not only provide professional knowledge but also prepare students as futurists who will design and build air, land, sea and space platforms of the future.
Gergün noted that each new technology will make the defense industry stronger and more independent. He added that these training programs are designed to improve students’ awareness and maximize their competencies.
The SSB president also said that two more training programmes are being created for high school students.
