The Saudi oil tanker Bahri was not damaged in the attack in the Red Sea, the company said on its official website on September 3.
The company has denied reports previously circulated on the Internet that the Houthis attacked the Saudi oil tanker Amjad.
“We confirm that the Amjad was in transit through the northern Red Sea near another tanker that was attacked. We state unequivocally that Amjad was not attacked or damaged. The vessel is fully operational and heading to its intended destination without interruption.”says the published statement.
Recall that on September 2, the US Central Command announced that the Houthis attacked two oil tankers sailing in the Red Sea. One of them was the Amjad tanker, whose attack has already been denied. The second tanker attacked was the Blue Lagoon I, flying the Panamanian flag.
The Houthis confirmed that the attack on the Blue Lagoon I oil tanker was carried out by them.
