Three suspects in the theft of equipment for a cement plant have been detained in Crimea, Russian Interior Ministry official Irina Volk said on her Telegram channel on September 4.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea, the missing equipment, valued at three billion rubles, was stolen from the territory of the Kamysh-Burun seaport in Kerch. At the time of the crime, this part of the port was leased by one of the commercial organizations.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under an article providing for penalties for large-scale theft. All defendants in the case are currently in custody.
Please note that this is not the first case of major theft that has been discovered recently. Recently, in Penza, a robbery was prevented at a large industrial enterprise, where seven suspects attempted to steal and resell products worth more than 1.25 million rubles.
