The Embassy of the United States of America in London was put on high alert this Wednesday after a suspicious package was placed outside the building.
“The US Embassy has returned to normal operations. Local authorities were investigating a suspicious package near the embassy,” the official Twitter account of the US Embassy in London says.
Workers were evacuated from the US Embassy in London, UK this Wednesday due to security concerns.
The embassy was closed and civilians left inside were advised to get down and away from the windows, Reuters reported. The London police were aware of the alarm.
