The Kaluga region government is to launch a preferential rental housing program for employees of the military-industrial complex (OPK) on February 22, reports the Rise newspaper, citing the regional government.
The timing of the program is not specified at this time, the regional authorities said that they began to work together with the housing institutions.
“This program will help retain highly-qualified specialists and ensure that our factories need the employees they need. The Kaluga region begins to interact with development institutions in the housing sector to comply with the instructions of the president”– said the representative of the authorities of the region.
Recall that during his message to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to launch a special program of preferential rental housing for defense industry employees at a below-market rate and to begin construction of such apartments.
It should be noted that the press service of the Rostec company reported that in order to attract staff to various companies, it compensates its employees for rental costs. Company representatives called the program one of the most important everyday problems, the solution of which will allow company employees to calmly do their work and make plans for the future.
