U.S. police are investigating the disappearance of a Portuguese-born immigrant who was last seen in Fall River, USA, 35 years ago. At the time, Clotilde Arrude Tremblay, who was born in the Azores, was 33 years old.
According to the newspaper News HeraldAuthorities are now asking for help from the public to find clues related to the suspected case.
“So far, attempts to find Clotilde have not been successful. [da mulher] deemed suspicious” can be read in a statement left by the Bristol District Attorney.
At the time of her disappearance, Clotilde’s partner, Robert Tremblay, claimed that the woman had left him for another man, information that was never confirmed. The remaining family of the missing person rejected this possibility.
