The body of Luis Estevez, a 49-year-old taxi driver who has been missing for a week, was found this Thursday in a car that sank in Lisbon’s Doca do Bom Sucesso.
An official source from the National Maritime Administration (AMN) confirmed cm that a submerged car was registered at the Bom Sucesso dock and that a person was inside.
The request for media intervention by the AMN was made “last night by the Judicial Police,” he told reporters. cm Commander Rocha Pacheco, Commander of the Port of Lisbon.
“Since the beginning of the morning, we have engaged a group of AMN forensic divers, in addition to ships,” added Capt. Rocha Pacheco.
Operatives began “the process of extracting and extracting the corpse from the car to then proceed with its removal.”
Recall that Luis Estevez disappeared on Thursday last week after leaving home at dawn to go to work in Casal de Cambra, Sintra.
