A transgender woman who served in the Ukrainian army was wounded this Thursday after an artillery attack in Dombassa, Ukraine. Sarah Ashton-Cirillo took the opportunity to share a video on Twitter showing her injuries to her followers and leaving a message for Russia.
“They can’t kill us! They can’t harm us! Why? Because we are Ukraine and victory will be ours. Putin will be the one who dies,” he stressed.
Sarah Ashton-Cirillo was shot in the head and right arm, writes the Washington Blade newspaper on the social network.
