The Arab League has held the Israeli government fully responsible for the aggressive actions of settlers in the cities and towns of the southern province of Nablus, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reports on February 27.
In a statement, the Arab League reaffirmed that these hostile acts are being carried out under the protection, participation and support of the Israeli military and warned of the imminent consequences in Palestine, the region and the world.
The League also accused Israel of trying to derail international and regional efforts to find a political path that would restart peace talks and revive chances for a two-state solution.
The League of Arab States emphasized that this escalation is a reflection of the official position and a consequence of statements “Far-right Israeli government led by Benjamin Netanyahu”.
